Some may call Michael Jordan a genius and others may call him a crook but one thing is for sure, he sure is making that money honey, cause people, the BUGS BUNNY 8s are back.  I say back because Derty Sole sure did already have a pair in stock!

Release date on these bad boys will be April 20, 2013.  For all you medically inclined to smoke a bowl, better make a decision on your priorities on 4/20.  LOL.

She Got Game

For those of you who got game this Saturday, some casual fit ideas for both men and women, compliments of yours truly, the dertiest.

They say that love is Blind

Moving to San Diego I immediately noticed that the urban/ street wear scene here isn't that big.  I found out that most people either have to drive up to L.A. to get their hands new pick ups or do some searching online.  Obviously the positive side to that is that you'll have something different then the usual Saturday morning, House of Hoops releases, but accessibility is also important.  Some of us don't want to wait for shipping to get our hands on our new purchases.  Plus, having a local shop means that we have a business that's already a step ahead on our behalf so that San Diego can represent.  Stores like BLENDS AND ATTIC in SD do just that but as a community we also need to support and represent for local small businesses so I wanted to give a shout out to KOLORBLIND shoe consignment.  Kolorblind provides the newest exclusives and caters to their community by making sure their customers have the lastest ASAP and they make it point to create relationship and stay loyal to them. I've even heard they opened up on a closed day just so a customer to get their hands on the new releases.  I believe that type of loyalty and dedication needs to be appreciated and noticed.  So check them out at their shop, it's located in Hillcrest at 322 W Washington St.  Keep it up Kolorblind and I hope you guys do big things here in Daygo.  www.kolorblindshoes.com

Day 3 - Flashback Friday

In honor of FLASHBACK FRIDAYS, lets take a stroll down memory lane.  All the way to 89' when copping a pair of Fire Red Jordan 4s was like saying you shook Michael Jordan's hand and it mean't you were the cool kid in school.  Although, people don't like to admit that before they could actually afford the Retro's, they were actually rockin' the L.A. Gear.  People go crazy over Jordan's today, stealing and shooting people over a pair.  I guess it's all about that struggle.  They been going through life rockin these L.A. Gear's for too long!  It's all about the hype people! And boy do I feed into it! hahaha!! Just my little tid-bit of the day.

Day 1 - Started from the bottom

Finally welcoming myself to this blog life that I have no clue about but feel necessary to join, learn from and spread my love for this life to.  So I guess I can start by introducing myself and what my mind is about.

The name is Diana but friends call me Derty or D.  Born and raised in Hawaii, military brat.  Currently a full time student at The Art Institute of California - San Diego working on a Bachelors in Fashion Design.  I graduate in September so its all hitting me that I need to make things happen in this industry we call FASHION.  I've struggled a lot trying to find myself and the road to my future and what I enjoy about fashion.  I have learned every aspect of this industry whether it be design, sewing, pattern making (by hand or computerized), marketing, so on and so worth.  I've come to the conclusion that designing and sewing is not for me.  I'm just not about that life.  But what I do love and enjoy has stuck for some years now and as much as we're mesmerized by glamour and fashion houses that envelop the industry, the streets is where its at and where its always started.  I've been collecting shoes and following street wear brands since I was in middle school and I took a hiatus for a bit to get my grown woman on but it always comes back to you.  So with that I hope you enjoy what I have to say/ share and if you don't then no sweat off my back. ALOHA!
